Do you agree with local governments singling out a breed of dog and making it illegal to own one? What precautions would you recommend? The reason I ask is because I have seen Pit Bulls interact and play with children for years. They can be some of the best, kindest, and most loyal animals. That loyalty is often cited as the reason for their "dark side" and protective instincts. I've just never seen it that way.
